Stephen K. Smith

As Executive Vice President of Property Management for Columbia Property Trust, Steve Smith oversees all property management and engineering operations across the company’s owned and managed national portfolio, with responsibility for operational performance, tenant experience, and building systems management.

Mr. Smith joined Columbia in 2020 from Normandy Real Estate Partners, where he served as a Principal overseeing the firm’s property management platform. Prior to Normandy, he held a leadership role at Yale Properties USA, where he directed property management operations for nearly 2 million square feet of landmark office properties in the Boston market.

Mr. Smith brings more than 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having managed over 40 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles at several leading Boston-area real estate firms, including Spaulding & Slye, Trammell Crow Company, and Leggat McCall Properties.

Mr. Smith holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMI. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.

He resides in northern New Jersey with his wife.
