As General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of Columbia Property Trust, Suzanne deVries Decker oversees the execution of the organization’s vision, with responsibility for risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, and the development and implementation of corporate strategies. She serves on both the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee, collaborating with executive leadership to shape and drive Columbia’s strategic direction and operational performance.
Ms. Decker joined Columbia in 2023 from Fried Frank, where she was a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate group. Her practice encompassed a broad range of real estate transactions, including financings, acquisitions, ground-up development, and joint ventures. Ms. Decker also brings significant experience advising both borrowers and lenders in mortgage and mezzanine loan workouts.
Ms. Decker is licensed to practice law in New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
