Suzanne deVries Decker

As General Counsel of Columbia Property Trust, Suzanne deVries Decker is responsible for the formulation and execution of Columbia’s legal strategies. As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Decker executes on the vision of the organization and implements corporate operational strategies and processes to meet near- and long-term goals. She sits on the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee collaborating with executive leadership to establish and direct the strategic plan and execution for Columbia.

Ms. Decker came to Columbia in 2023 from Fried Frank, where she was a Partner in the Real Estate group. She represented a diverse group of clients in a variety of real estate transactions including financings, acquisitions, ground up construction and joint ventures. Ms. Decker also has significant experience representing both borrowers and lenders in mortgage and mezzanine loan workouts.

Ms. Decker is licensed to practice law in New York. She received her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.

She resides in Croton-on-Hudson in Westchester County with her family and has two sons.
